Hi, I’m Alan Macaulay, Director of James Alan Construction LTD.

James Alan Construction started in 2009, based in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. After over 15 years of serving clients for other building contractors, I felt the need to provide a company set on communicating well with the client to achieve a successful project.

I personally wanted to create a company that was not afraid to take on the unusual or mundane. One that would provide a first-class service to the client who would have no issue recommending James Alan Construction to their friends and family.

I knew to achieve this, it would take a team of like-minded tradesman and professionals to work hand in hand to ensure the service can be delivered to a high standard, that is how James Alan Construction was born.

Over the years, our company has sourced and refined our network of tradesman, subcontractors and suppliers who have the same ethos as James Alan Construction and communication protocol that is used to provide a quality project tailored to the clients wishes. We have created relationships across the east of Scotland.
